The next-generation iPhone or the iPhone 8 is inching closer to its release in September and the leaks are continuing to pile up. The latest of them is one of the back panel of the iPhone 8.

The leak shows a vertical oval shaped cutout on the back which could possibly hold the dual camera and flash for the new iPhone. The Apple logo is at its usual place at the top center of the phone and this removes the possibility of a fingerprint sensor on the back panel, which had been speculated earlier by other tipsters. This could mean that Apple might just integrate the fingerprint sensor beneath the screen if it is going for bezel-less display or design.
The back panel appears to be made out of curved glass, sparking rumors that Apple may return to its glass sandwich design from the metal body casing for the next generation iPhone.
This fall will mark a 10-year anniversary for the Apple’s iPhone and its is speculated that there will be a launch of three models, at this year’s September special event. The smartphones are speculated to be the iPhone 8 or iPhone ‘Pro’ and the two incremental models of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus called the iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus. However, according to the Asian Reviewall the three models in 2018 may feature OLED screens rather than the traditional LCD display.
